Quality and certifications
At EGISA, quality encompasses the entire organization and is our priority in everything we do. We know that betting on quality means advancing, improving, and outdoing yourself and that it is the only path to excellence.
We commit ourselves, as we have been doing for more than half a century, to dedicating our best efforts to the continuous improvement of the quality of our products and services to guarantee the satisfaction of our customers, which is our main objective.
Currently, our quality labels, accreditations and certifications are as follows:
ISO9001Quality certificate
We have been certified since 2005. It is the international standard for quality management systems with the greatest recognition in the world. It helps us to meet the expectations and needs of our customers, and to continuously manage and control quality in all our production processes.
FSC®
We have been certified since 2009.
The FSC® seal guarantees environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management of the world’s forests. For each product declared as FSC® the certificate number is BMC-COC-003035.
Imprim’Vert®
We have been awarded the label for the first time in 2022. Imprim’Vert®The French seal Imprim’Vert® aims to reduce the environmental impact of the activities of the printing industry. Choosing Imprim’Vert® is to act out of respect for the environment through innovative and committed activism.
EcoVadis
EcoVadis is the world’s most recognized and trusted corporate sustainability rating platform. It evaluates the impact of organizations each year across four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. In 2024, EcoVadis updated its medal program, now awarding medals only to companies ranked in the top 35th percentile of all assessed organizations. Following our latest assessment (May 2025), EcoVadis awarded us a Silver Medal and a score of 74/100, recognizing our continued and consistent progress in corporate sustainability.
Sanitary Register
EGISA is registered in the Health Register of Industries and Food Products of Catalonia (RSIPAC) under no. RSIPAC: 39.05548/CAT and in the General Sanitary Register of Food Companies and Foodstuffs (RGSEAA) under no. RGSEAA: 39.005898/B. This guarantees that we comply with food safety regulations in all our facilities and with all our products.
ISO22000Food Safety Certificate
In the process of certification. It is the international standard for food safety management systems that specifies the requirements that must be met throughout the entire food supply chain, to ensure that it reaches the consumer in perfect condition.
Carbon Footprint Calculation Label
Label awarded by the Government of Spain through the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. Registration in the Carbon Footprint, Offset and CO₂ Absorption Projects Registry is subject to an emissions reduction plan that we submitted to the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) for the 2021–2025 period. In 2023, thanks to the implementation of reduction measures and the adoption of best practices, we reduced our emissions to 56.81 tonnes of CO₂ (Scope 1+2), which represents a 56.88% decrease compared to 2022 and a 66.98% reduction compared to our base year, 2021. In 2025, we have implemented a tool to calculate emissions across the entire organization, including Scope 3. The objective is to have the Scope 3 emissions calculated by the last quarter of 2025.
Innovative SME Label
We have been awarded the Innovative SME Seal by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, which recognises our capacity for innovation and our commitment to R&D&I. Valid for the years 2021-2024, this seal reflects our efforts to develop cutting-edge solutions. We are currently renewing it to continue promoting innovation in everything we do.
Quality and Food Safety Policy
Our Quality Policy is based on the continuous improvement of our integrated Quality and Food Safety Management System in order to ensure that the products and services we provide satisfy and generate confidence in our customers by meeting their requirements and expectations.
