An unforgettable 60th anniversary: celebrating six decades of history together
As we approach the end of 2024, a year full of challenges and achievements, we would like to look back on one of the most special moments of this year: the celebration of EGISA’s 60th anniversary. Last Saturday 23 November, we had the honour of meeting with our entire staff to commemorate this milestone in a unique setting: Masía Can Ametller, a historic site in Sant Cugat del Vallès, near Barcelona. The evening was much more than an event; it was a tribute to our great EGISA family and to the values that have guided us over six decades.
An evening full of emotions and surprises
The celebration of our 60th anniversary kicked off in the magnificent gardens of the Masía Can Ametller, where guests enjoyed a lively aperitif in a convivial atmosphere. As well as the first surprises of the evening, such as a fun balloon game with unique prizes – ranging from a gourmet dinner in a renowned Barcelona restaurant to reusable bottles personalised with the EGISA logo, practical backpacks for everyday use and solidarity packs of local, natural and plant-based products – we also organised a photocall with a photo booth and various accessories. This area allowed participants to take group photos and added a fun and festive touch to the evening. After the aperitif, we moved into the large dining room to enjoy an exquisite dinner prepared with care using high-quality local produce. It was the perfect opportunity to share stories, network and celebrate together in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
Mentalism, creativity and fun
The most intriguing moment of the evening came after dinner, when Juanma, The Mentalist, took to the stage. His incredible ability to read minds and create amazing experiences blew everyone away, creating moments of surprise that will not easily be forgotten. The celebration then continued in the main salon, where a lively karaoke contest took centre stage. The tables competed with enthusiasm, creativity and energy as they competed for prizes such as bottles of wine and giant lollipops, filling the night with laughter and good energy.
A tribute to our past, looking to the future
The celebration was also a moment to fondly remember Alex Labori, who left us three years ago. His legacy and spirit live on in EGISA, led by his siblings Carlos (CEO), Silvia, Maribel and Ignacio. This anniversary not only marked six decades of history, but also reaffirmed the spirit of togetherness, commitment and passion that defines us as a team.
An ending to remember
The night concluded with a lively party that lasted until the early hours of the morning, leaving a lasting memory of this celebration for each and every one of the guests. With our hearts full of gratitude for these 60 years of history, we look to the future with renewed enthusiasm, committed to excellence, sustainability, innovation and passion that define each of our projects and products.
