What are the Ten Principles?

The Global Compact’s Ten Principles are grouped into four main areas: human rights, labour standards, environment and anti-corruption.

Human Rights:

• Principle 1: Support and respect the protection of human rights.
• Principle 2: Do not be complicit in human rights abuses.

Labour Standards:

• Principle 3: Support freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
